As a result of owning the only license in the world for Serta Futon Mattresses, Wolf has sold a tremendous amount of their famous Serta futons. The company offers a virtual fleet of innerspring mattresses, commercial mattresses, RV mattresses, platform bed frames, and adjustable bed frames. The company offers a 10 year warranty on all their models.
For the purpose of this review, Wolf sent over a firm, queen size, innerspring mattress. Read more about this Wolf mattress below.
Unlike many mattresses you see today, the Wolf Corp mattress features flippable firmness. As a result of so many sleepers not knowing which preferred comfort is best for their sleep style, Wolf created one of the few innerspring mattress that can be flipped over for a medium level of softness on one side and a much firmer option on their other side.
Our review concludes that the Matteo Mattress is a solidly built, well priced and well made innerspring offering. Wolf is a highly reputable company with a long tradition of excellence in the industry.
The Wolf Corporation Alpha Mattress is covered in a geometric stretch knit fabric with “Cool Air” fibers. The Cool Air fibers keep the mattress surface cool. The knit cover stretches over the mattress with a nice, tight fit. The cover is not quilted so this allows the sleeper to feel the benefits of both the visco foam or memory foam and the wrapped coils.
The Wolf Corporation Alpha contains 8-inch wrapped coil innersprings. 580 wrapped coils conform to the sleeper’s body for superior comfort and reduce motion transfer when 2 people sleep in the same bed. The Alpha Mattress contains Certi-PUR Visco Foam to create a plush mattress surface. The Alpha Mattress also contains Wolf’s cotton/poly bonded fiber products for additional support.
The Wolf Corporation Alpha Mattress sleeps cool. Hybrid mattresses are great at dispersing body heat. Wolf Corp’s Cool Air fibers in the mattress cover also does a great job of keeping the sleep surface cool.
Wolf Alpha Mattress review
The Wolf Corporation Alpha is a great option for anyone wanting a hybrid mattress that sleeps cool and doesn’t cost a fortune. The 11-inch mattress is plush in terms of firmness so side and back sleepers who want a comfortable sleep surface would sleep well on this mattress.
This is Wolf’s 3rd mattress in their “Wolf Pack” series. They also have a cheaper 8-inch option and more expensive, 11-inch, higher end option in this series.
The Wolf Corporation Cubbie is covered in a geometric stretch knit fabric with “Cool Air” fibers. The Cool Air fibers keep the mattress surface cool. The cover is quilted with 2 pieces of Centri-Pur-US convoluted foam to provide a medium firm sleep surface.
The Wolf Cubbie sleeps cool. Innerspring mattresses are great at dispersing heat. Wolf Corp’s Cool Air fibers in the cover also does a great job of keeping the sleep surface cool.
This twin size mattress would be great option for children, teenagers, and guest bedrooms. Since the Cubbie mattress is 8.5 inches in height, lighter sleepers in terms of weight would find this mattress very comfortable and cool. The inexpensive price paired with high quality craftsmanship makes the Cubbie Mattress a great option that doesn’t break the bank. Wolf also offers a 10 inch and 11 inch mattress in this same lineup.
The Den’s medium sleep surface works great with side, back, and stomach sleepers. It works best on box springs, platform beds, or any flat surface.
The “Cool Air” fibers we mentioned before are also used on the Den mattress. The cover is quilted with 2 pieces of Centri-Pur-US convoluted foam to provide a medium firm sleep surface. The knit cover stretches over the mattress with a nice, tight fit.
The Wolf Corporation Den Mattress sleeps cool. Innerspring mattresses are great at dispersing body heat due to the openness of the springs. Wolf Corp’s Cool Air fibers in the mattress cover also does a great job of keeping the sleep surface cool.

The Den Mattress also contains Wolf’s cotton/poly bonded fiber product for additional support.
The Wolf Corporation Den is a great option for anyone wanting an innerspring mattress that sleeps cool and doesn’t cost a fortune. The 10-inch model is medium in terms of firmness so side and back sleepers who want a comfortable sleep surface would sleep well on this model. This is Wolf’s 2nd mattress in their “Wolf Pack” series. They also have a cheaper 8.5-inch option and more expensive, 11-inch, higher end option in this series.
Mattresses will sometimes have a slight odor when unrolled from the compressed packaging. This is called ‘off gassing’ and is often described similar to a new car smell. Once you open your mattress, let it breath to fully inflate. This will eliminate the majority of the scent. I usually find the odor to be unnoticeable within 24 hours or so. None of the Woll Mattresses that we tested had a strong odor so off gassing shouldn’t be an issue with your Wolf.
